Since working with Erin I have structured and designed my entire company around the truths she uncovered in me. I am now a paid speaker with an agent who has been able to book me for multiple speeches. Her uncanny ability to draw truths and meaning from my stories and my persona allowed me to see myself and my true message in a way I had never thought about before. I was astonished at how she was able to show me more of myself than I had ever known was there, and I like to think of myself as a pretty cognitive present individual. She’s like a truth superhero.
The work that Erin does is unparalleled in this world. She is a leader in her field and having her as a coach has made all the difference for me in building a business that is not only successful, but also a reflection of my heart’s true intentions. Erin’s ability to think outside the box provides powerful solutions for complicated challenges. Her no nonsense and authentic approach to every project brings out my best possible self to achieve my wildest dreams. I am honored to co-create with her and encourage anyone who wants to push themselves to the next level to consider working with her.
The Dig gave me a lot of clarity around what my “truth” was but I didn’t quite know what to do with it. Then it came out. The message was clear: Everyone can be a philanthropist. I wouldn’t have gotten to that without the Dig process. From there, I knew it was time to come up with a TED talk so I signed up for a speech workshop. That was a paradigm shift. I realized so many things about myself. I learned that I’ve held onto an idea for far too long about myself…that I’m not good enough. And that served me well but it also held me back and made me question why anyone would want to hear my story. I now feel confident that not only am I good enough, but my story can help others feel like they can be too.
Giving my TEDx speech on living with mental illness was one of the toughest, most personal talks I’ve ever given. Erin not only helped me find my truth, you helped me give myself permission to speak it, loudly. The outpouring of support I’ve had since has led to an entirely new conversation around a topic that needed more voices. This speech changed my life and the lives of many others, and Erin helped me make it happen. Thank you for everything.
Caution! Do not take this process lightly! If you are unwilling to venture into the dark places that terrify most people and lack desire to feel challenged, you might consider giving this more thought. HOWEVER, if you are willing to “dig deep” and move head first into the emotional abyss that can only be found by facing your fears, then open up your heart, mind and body and feel the excitement of a wonderful journey. The unexpected outcome of my Dig was as a sense of deep personal meaning. I really was not expecting anything outside of pure business consulting and I found so much more!
Erin validated what I do and gave me “permission” to do it within the given perimeters where I would be pitching myself to media – TV, magazine, radio. I have worked with her in developing my message through a private Dig and through participation in a speech workshop. My business message is clear and authentically me – and I’m gaining successes through consistent action based on what we outlined in my Dig. Her gift is as an intuitive listener and facilitator who brings out each client’s unique voice and vision. I feel that Erin brings out the core of truth that her clients want to bring to light, focus on, and cultivate.
Erin and her colleagues at Evoso helped me give the best keynote of my career. Not only was I able to deliver an amazing keynote, I learned a process of story telling I can apply to my presentations. I was worried that working about the story telling part of my keynote could have been a very uncomfortable process for me. I can educate and speak about facts and do that very well. Erin forced me to think more deeply to find a personal truth I wanted, or needed, to share. It wasn’t uncomfortable, and the results were more than I could have hoped for.
My private Dig with Erin was life-changing. I went in with a pretty blank slate – I don’t have a business yet, and have just started putting definition around what it is I am meant to do. Through her amazing intuition, and a completely unique methodology, I left feeling extremely clear on where I am now, and where I am going next. I even have a pretty clear idea of what’s after that. I can’t recommend Erin enough. If I could, I would spend time with her everyday – she’s the kind of person that brings out the best in you.
Erin is woman who works to serve the world through people–people who she identifies as shapers. She helps find clarity in mud and density in clouds. She helps people find and carry their voice. She does it all with the grace of a tiger and wisdom of a tree.
I needed Erin Weed to clean house, career-wise. I was too spread out and putting too much energy into things that weren’t inline with my bigger goals. Erin’s like a project manager and connector–she knows everyone in her field and knows how to put the pieces together in ways I couldn’t do on my own. As a result of my time with Erin, I’ve been able to choose 3 areas of focus and work on those and those only, and I’m excited about this direction.
Through the process of working with Erin, I now have the confidence to begin the process of formulating my thoughts into the written word and the spoken word for a larger audience. Erin Weed is like a spotlight who shines her light on your heart, gut and mind at the same time. She helps light the way for you to find your own honest to goodness truth(s). She is direct, scary intuitive, bitch-slap kind of funny and incredibly honest in every interaction with you. Who would’a thought that delving deeply into yourself, with someone else, could be so fruitful and so much damn fun?
I was stuck in my head. I knew there were people I couple help with my message, but I needed focus and clarity around why my message mattered and who it mattered to. The Dig helped to reinforce the need to be authentic. It is okay to be a chicken farmer from Alabama who just happens to know something about how to run a profitable business. Erin has a unique ability to engage you to tell your story and extract the key elements out of your story that help guide you in your messaging. She is the Horse Whisperer for Speakers.
What I felt was missing was clarity about WHAT I wanted to talk about. I teach so much, that I wasn’t sure where to start. I had two big speeches at Google that were booked while I was in Boulder. The topics were not at all related to what Erin and I worked on, however, working with Erin really helped my confidence for those speeches and I nailed it! My work with Erin brought me the clarity I was seeking in such a graceful and powerful way. Not only did I get clear on the content for a TEDx talk, I also left feeling totally gotten, seen and inspired to share my message with the world!
I wanted guidance on getting a TEDx talk. Was pretty sure I knew what I wanted to talk about but was interested in Erin’s perspective. I discovered that there was a deeper level to my talk. By going much deeper, we were able to discover the universal truth which was great.
Erin is uncategorizable, if that is a word. She is hugely intelligent, knowledgeable, savvy, intuitive about people and business, and is truly generous in her work, focused on enabling authenticity in others and coaxing their truth out into the light. The highest compliment I can give anyone is that every single moment with her, I’m learning, re-considering, or challenging something – a belief, an assumption, my own perceived limitations. It is a “stretch” experience speaking with her, and that is rare.
I knew I’d get a great speech out of it. I didn’t expect to discover what was holding me back, myself! Through working with Erin I discovered I was the one standing in my own way.
The main outcome of The Dig was that at the end, I really had a message that I was dying and ready to get out to the world! Beforehand, I didn’t know what I wanted to say, just that I had a message. At the end, I had a whole game plan about when I would speak, who I would speak to, and what my speech would be about. When I describe Erin to other people I say (in a very enthusiastic voice) “Thank God for Erin.” She is best described as an angel! I went there with lots of confusion, scrambled thoughts running through my head, etc… and left with such a clear sense of clarity. Erin digs deep within your life, your past, your future, and helps bring the clarity that is needed in your life!
